Our region is one of the most famous in the world in the field of wine. We organise visits to castles and wine tastings for wine lovers and the curious who wish to learn more about oenology.
Cycling
Hundreds of trails and footpaths make our hilly region an ideal place for cyclists. Maps are available from the various tourist offices. Stroll through forests, fields, vineyards, marshes... Stroll along the Gironde and observe many species of birds.
For mountain biking enthusiasts, a 40km trail is located just behind the campsite.
water Sports
At 5km from the campsite, a launching ramp is available at the port of Callonges. You can bring your own boat and practice boating, sailing, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing... A little further away, in Royan, you can rent a canoe or a sailboat and take windsurfing lessons. The lakes of Carcan and Lacanau, in the Médoc, allow you to rent a catamaran. A real surfers' paradise, the Atlantic coast is waiting for you!

the Gironde estuary
Flowing into the Atlantic Ocean, this 75km long estuary is formed by the confluence of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. Our campsite is located on the right bank 5km from the estuary, facing the ocean.

Along the Gironde estuary, on the green road, charming ports with their terraces welcome you for moments of relaxation and conviviality. Going up the estuary, you will be able to make some beautiful discoveries...
Bourg and Blaye
These two cities are located 30 and 45km north of Bordeaux. They produce large volumes of red and white wines under the appellations Côtes de Bourg, Côtes de Blaye and Premières Côtes de Blaye. The red wines of the Bourgeais are full-bodied and age well. Those of Blayais are fruitier and quicker to drink.

Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde
Our campsite is located 2km from Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde. It offers all amenities: supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy, shops, weekly market, restaurants... The port of Callonges also belongs to the commune.
Talmont-sur-Gironde
16km from Royan, Talmont-sur-Gironde is one of the most beautiful villages in France. The church Sainte-Radegonde dates from the 12th century. Various museums tell the history of the village and the life of the estuary.
Royan
Capital of the Côte de Beauté, Royan is a seaside town located at the mouth of the Gironde estuary. It is known for its baroque houses from the end of the 19th century. Holidaymakers appreciate its casino, its market and its large beach which extends over 2km.
the left bank : the Médoc
Médoc means "in the middle of the water": to the west the Atlantic and to the east the Gironde.
At Blaye and Royan, it is possible to take the ferry (for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists) to reach the Médoc on the opposite bank.
It is indeed on the left bank of the Gironde estuary that the vineyards of the Médoc run, with world-famous appellations: Mouton Rothschild, Laffitte, Latour, Margaux...
To the west, the seaside towns of Lacanau, Hourtin and Carcan are popular for their large sandy beaches. The sea, often rough, delights surfing enthusiasts.
